Still Waiting

 We have been taken down to the OR. We are currently waiting for the harvesting team. The harvesting team have arrived at the hospital that the donor is at. Other harvesting teams from other hospitals are also coordinating their organ removal.  The heart is removed first.  They can’t remove the heart until all the other harvesting teams have arrived. So we found out the donor is about an hour or so away by airplane. So we are waiting. The halls are empty and the air is still. Thank you all for the well wishes.
