Ethan had a restful afternoon. I did as well. He has had a steady stream of people in his room checking this machine and that machine. His foot temperatures. ECMO is really helping him. He has been able to maintain his pressures. He did have to be paced because he went into atrial flutter again. They are able to give him medication for it without worrying he will drop his blood pressure. They are dragging their feet though with the thought he will regulate this on his own.
I appreciate all the texts and people reaching out to Paul and I. Thank you to everyone that has helped us cope these last few weeks. Every little bit of it is so appreciated
Cross your fingers Ethan gives EVERYONE a break tonight. I want to hug him tight and kick him in the ass at the same time.

I don't check your writing for ONE day and this is what I find?!?! I'm so glad they got him regulated. I know this is not the direction you wanted to go at all, but if this is like a car engine swap, it seems fitting. Ethan isn't a big "take er easy and drive straight" kind of driver. He's just skidding, smoking the tires, dragging his cousins behind him on skateboards. The only way you can get him to take a calm Sunday drive is with elephant tranquilizers. ❤️❤️❤️
