He’s back. He is zonked. His oxygen is now normal. This is a means to get him stronger. This poor kid. He is never going to believe what he has been through. I hope her remembers nothing.
I don’t think he is losing any of his medication pumps today which is ok because he is stable and that is all I ask for. His lips are pink. He is napping away. Lots of people are in and out of his room. They have assigned two nurses to him. The people are funny. They say “hi I am so and so......” it’s cute that they think I will remember. I can’t even remember my towels and soaps.
I had a margarita with lunch. This whole delivering alcohol thing is nice. I feel nice and calm now.
I thank each person that sent me a note, joke, picture, meme, text etc, they really do help. Thank you for taking the time to do that.
We are going to rest and focus on healing.
You are supposed to rest and nap and let Ethan heal!! That is both of your jobs. Avery has been delivered home for the day. My job is done too until tomorrow. I love you.

ReplyDeleteAs a health care provider, I do the "hi, my name is..." every time I meet someone new. You should see the looks we get sometimes. I'm always working with a team so they meet multiple people in one day.
I like to tell people, "don't worry, we won't quiz you on our names until Friday!"
My husband is a fellow HCMer. He is in burnout and will soon be facing transplant. He follows Ethan on Youtube. So we have been keeping up with him. You positivity is amazing!!
