Another quiet night. Wow! Not so much movement on Ethan's part. He did have some twitching when stimulated. He is still a sleeping beauty with his extended slumber. His facial hair has grown. He needs a shave and a haircut.
Last night I connected with a mom whose sister read my blog. This Mom's son had a transplant on 3 weeks before Ethan had his. He has the same team of doctors that are helping Ethan. They have been here for 7 weeks. He and his mom are a few floors down, a very short elevator ride. We met while maintaining proper social distance. Her son is so brave. He has had some serious health issues throughout his life. He was a delight to talk to, they both were. I look forward to meeting up with them again.
Ethan got a new five liter bag of IV "food". I have decided that it is an elaborate dinner of pulled pork and tater tots. Ethan would love that dinner, who wouldn't want five liters of pulled pork and tater tots?
Ethan has had his morning x-rays already. I was the first to the shower and I have my coffee. So far the day is off to a great start. I am watching the sun rise over the city. Let's keep this momentum.
So far so good. Nutrition will help. Rest will help. Come on Ethan! You can do this. Glad you got to visit with others. Hope it helped. Love you both
